Steel & Sky – Rusted Vessel II explores the ship’s body as an industrial carrier of material, time, and movement. The form appears as a robust construction, yet also as a surface in which transformation is inscribed. On the hull, the silhouette of a sailor emerges — a figurative presence within the industrial structure. It marks human presence within the system and shifts the focus from a purely functional object toward an individual dimension.
Within the painting process, architectural decisions merge with freer interventions. Between stability and erosion, surface and trace, a field of tension opens in which, alongside industrial dominance, the human figure becomes visible and asserts its presence.
